Happy Customers, Healthy Trees

Passionate about Trees? So are we! We care so much about these large, long lived woody creatures that we are willing to put it all on the line to climb and trim these green giants that make our home planet such a good place to be! T.T.N.W. is laser focused on staying up to date on industry standards for tree pruning and safe work practices as recommended by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and ANSI A300 pruning standards put forth by TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association). As a member of both the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) we stay up to date on important Tree care news so we can best serve our urban forests.

Tree Tech NW passion for trees started at a young age. As a boy I would play for hours in the hardwood forests around my house of Morristown, NJ. I knew every inch of that forest. The pond with the tadpoles, that would later grow into frogs. The spot where the whitetail deer could be found. The big oak tree. The old stone fences leftover from the property lines of yesteryear. Playing on the trees with my friends I would climb the trees in the front yard. And one day I would climb the highest I ever did and safely arrive at the top. The thrill of being so high was palpable, the feeling of danger but also safety in the strength of the tree was…wonderful, and I will never forget that.

Later in life I would, while on summer break from college I would see a sign for employment: TREE CLIMBERS WANTED. I was intrigued so I called the Tree Service by my house and scheduled an interview. I was hired and began learning about Tree Care day one from a professional, and respectable team of Tree Care experts. I really liked it. On the tree crews I worked many of my coworkers told me I better go back to college and finish my engineering degree. I listened to them, but after finishing my degree and entering the engineering work force, there was a lack of excitement that only tree climbing can fulfill. During the Covid Slowdown of 2020 work was particularly dull, and an interesting opportunity presented itself. A neighbor had tree work they needed done, and wanted to hire me to do the work. I offered my services, and him being a small business owner he offered to help me start my own small business. And there you have it, one small gesture from a caring person sparked the creation of our business today. Thank you to Grant of Eco Movers for inspiring Tree Tech NW.
